Granudan Composite-Shield is a solvent-based release agent for larger boat molds, Wind mill houses (Nacelles), and industrial molds where controlled slip is important. It delivers medium-high gloss and medium/low release, so operators can demold parts easily without risking pre-release.

Simple and Reliable Application

Apply two coats of Composite-Shield for best results. First, soak a clean cotton cloth and spread a thin, even film across the surface. While the film remains wet, wipe it immediately with a dry cloth. In addition, allow the mold to dry for 15 minutes between coats. After the second coat, cure the mold for 30 minutes at 18–21°C. This step-by-step process prepares the surface for countless release cycles.

Durable and Cost-Efficient Performance

Composite-Shield provides thermal stability up to 480°C. As a result, it works reliably in demanding composite processes. Furthermore, its coverage of 100–130 m² per liter makes it efficient and cost-saving. Operators also benefit from a PFAS-free formulation that improves workplace safety and reduces environmental risks. For safe use, PPE must always follow SDS instructions.
