Granudan Multi-Shield for High-Slip Release

Granudan Multi-Shield is a solvent-based release agent developed for composite production where high slip and multiple releases are required. The product is today equal to Chemlease 2720.  It offers outstanding slip-performance comparable to Watershield, but with the added benefit of more prints, less transfer, and no buildup on the mold surface. As a result, operators achieve reliable releases, reduced downtime, and improved efficiency.

Strong, Durable, and Easy to Apply

Multi-Shield is easy to apply and cures quickly at room temperature. Apply thin coats, allowing 15 minutes between layers and 30 minutes after the final coat at a minimum of 20°C. Once cured, the product provides consistent slip and a highly durable protective layer. In addition, it contains no PFAS substances, making it safer for operators and the environment.

Thermal Stability and Versatile Use

With thermal stability up to 480°C, Granudan Multi-Shield is ideal for demanding molding processes. It is particularly suitable for polyurethane applications, but also versatile enough for other high-temperature composite work. Furthermore, it delivers coverage of approximately 100–130 m² per liter, maximizing efficiency and reducing product consumption.
