BreeZ Release 707: Water-Based Release Agent with dry film, minimum transfer, improved tackiness – Medium/low slip
BreeZ Release 707 is a superior water-based semi-permanent mold release leaving a quite dry film with minimum transfer. Indeed, this semi-permanent product excels in fiberglass and plastic molding – both for polyester, vinylester and Epoxy production environments. Consequently, it offers exceptional performance. Furthermore, it optimizes your workflow. Moreover, it strongly supports environmental responsibility. Therefore, expect reliable dry film results every time.
Experience Advanced Molding Performance
Indeed, BreeZ Release 707 forms a durable “dry” film on your mold’s surface. This feature proves highly effective for applications involving gelcoats. Moreover, it significantly reduces common issues like pre-release. Consequently, it ensures cleaner and more consistent part extraction. Thus, production efficiency improves noticeably.
Furthermore, this advanced water-based mold release allows tacky-tape to adhere easily. Therefore, you can place dry fiber mats precisely where needed. This versatile product also boasts high temperature stability. In addition, it offers excellent abrasion resistance.
It cures quickly. Hence, it minimizes downtime between production cycles. Consequently, you will appreciate these immediate benefits. This boosts your overall productivity.
An Eco-Friendly Water-Based Mold Release System
Granudan proudly presents an environmentally conscious alternative. It replaces traditional solvent-based products. Our Release 707 contains no PFAS fluorinated substances. Consequently, it ensures a safer working environment for your team. Moreover, it protects the planet. Thus, it minimizes harmful emissions.
We developed this product to meet strict demands. Specifically, it supports modern, sustainable manufacturing practices. Indeed, it offers a responsible choice for your business.
This water-based mold release forms part of Granudan’s renowned water-based release system. When combined with our Cleaner GR-08 and Sealer BN201 or Sealer 800W, it creates a powerful solution. This system is specifically designed for fiberglass production. Therefore, it offers seamless integration and optimal results.
You can easily achieve consistent, high-quality moldings. Indeed, this simplifies your entire process. Consequently, your production line will run smoothly. Moreover, consistent quality is guaranteed.
Simple Application for Optimal Results
Applying BreeZ Release 707 is simple and efficient. First, lightly moisten your mold surface. You can use a hand spray or a cotton cloth. Moreover, for larger areas, a mop works well. Indeed, this initial step is straightforward.
Then, immediately wipe any droplets away. Use a clean, new cloth to create a uniform film. This step ensures an even coating. Before the layer dries, wipe it again with a fresh cloth. Furthermore, this helps thin the film and aids evaporation. Always replace cloths for proper absorption. Consequently, this makes application smooth and effective.
Next, repeat this procedure 1-2 more times. Overlap slightly to ensure full mold coverage. Allow the product to cure for 15 minutes between layers. Ultimately, apply a total of 2-4 layers of Release 707. Therefore, this careful layering ensures maximum efficiency.
Let the final layer cure for at least 30 minutes. Do this before applying gel coat or molding. Thus, your mold surface becomes perfectly ready for casting. Indeed, this final step is crucial for success. Therefore, do not rush this stage.
Important Application Notes
- Before applying BreeZ Release 707, always ensure the mold is properly sealed. Specifically, we recommend using Granudan Sealer GP, BN201, or Sealer 800W for best results.
- For worn mold surfaces or those with significant porosity, we suggest using our primer MPP C2698W. Apply it before the sealer and then the water-based mold release.
- When maintaining existing molds, simply apply 1-2 fresh layers of Release 707 as described above. Moreover, two layers often enhance performance and increase pulls between touch-ups.
