ZYVAX Flex-Z 6.0 extra high slip release agent gives manufacturers the ultimate solution when they need maximum slip.

Flexible System with Adjustable Slip Levels

The Flex-Z range (1.0 to 6.0) offers four slip levels, allowing manufacturers to “flex” up or down depending on the application. For example:

• Flex-Z 1.0: Minimum slip – prevents pre-release and allows good tape adhesion

• Flex-Z 3.0: Medium slip – ideal for large molds and flat areas

• Flex-Z 4.0: Medium/high slip – the versatile “workhorse” choice

• Flex-Z 6.0: Extra high slip – recommended for challenging molds and vertical surfaces

When applied, the top layer determines the final slip level. For best performance, apply two coats of Granudan Sealer GP before starting with Flex-Z.

Fast Application and Curing

Flex-Z products are easy to use thanks to short curing times between coats, which makes mold preparation faster. The release agent should be applied directly (not wiped off) and can also be sprayed using HVLP spray solutions for even coverage.

Additional Cleaner Function

In addition to release performance, Flex-Z products function as excellent cleaners, capable of removing dirt, dust, filler, and residues from molds after demolding.
